Voices of Hope

It has been known for Eastview students to step up to the plate when it comes to helping the community. This time the main focus was on families that have been affected by cancer one way or another. Eastview held a sing-a-ton known as ‘Voices for Hope’ on February 20, 2009, to raise awareness as well as money for the Angel Foundation. Different Students and facility attended this lively event ever hour. I was able to attend three different times. It was an uplifting experience. What a great fun way to raise awareness. "This is one of the coolest thing Eastview has ever done for a great cause." says senior Kelly.
The Angel Foundation was founded in 2001 as a Minnesota-based non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life throughout the cancer experience. The massage the Angel Foundation is facing cancer together. All the money that was raised will go to this organization in helping families get by through hard times.
